This video will show the attendance reportiong options. The Email Day Report button can be used to email the records for the selected date to yourself or a school administrator. The names are displayed in the same order as they appear in the list so you can sort them by name, by identifier, or by status to make them appear in that order in the email. You can also use the search field to narrow down the list of students that appear in the report. Even more useful is to search by Status to only send the list of students who are absent that day. The Compose Email to Selected Students button allows you to send an email to a group of students. Sorting by status (or searching for a status) and selecting those students allows you to email just the students who are absent. The Email Attendance to Selected Students button allows you to send the students their individual attendance records. If you select one student and press the button, an email compose window is created with the attendance records for that student and you can add additional text to the body of the message if you want. If you select multiple students (pressing Cmd-A selects all students), and press the button, each student is sent his/her record automatically without giving you the option to add text and without requiring you to press the Send button for each message. The Export CSV Report button allows you to create a comma-separated-value file that can be opened in a spreadsheet with the status and note for each student. If you do not select any dates from the list, the records for all dates are used. If you select dates from the list, only those dates are included in the CSV report.
