I teach computer science at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. We use a combination of Python and C++ in our curriculum. I’ve co-authored a textbook with John Zelle for a second computer science course using Python and C++ titled Data Structures and Algorithms Using Python and C++.
I also develop apps for the iPhone/iPad and Mac. My iOS Attendance app has been fairly well received and sold reasonably well for a niche app. I released version 1.0 of my GradeA Mac grading app earlier this year. Version 2.0 of GradeA with attendance support is now available in the Mac App Store. I will probably eventually work on an iPad version of GradeA, but I won't have time to work on it during the summer of 2011 so I have no estimate of if/when it will be completed.
